Composition 101 On-line Course

Comp 101 is not the first online course I have taken. I took a summer course on Shakespeare Comedies and Histories. It was a very pleasant surprise, especially because it was Dr. Bill Dyer's first attempt. I believe there were several things that contributed to the success. The first was Dr. Dyer's ("D") wicked sense of humor and wit that was evidenced in his chat sessions and questions. The chats were "pithy" and D's writing style was vivid and animated. It also helped to have excellent clips from well done productions too.

As for Comp 101, the content seems well laid out and well organized. I have already had one problem submitting a writing assignment. I was sure that I was within the time limit as I copied and pasted from a word document. I emailed the assignment to Dr. McClure and notified him. I will see how it pans out.
